Before and After Steak and St. Patrick Cards
Hi there everyone....this will be a short one....just wanted to show you the "before" and "after" pictures of that wonderful and de-lish-ous heart shaped rib-eye steak.
So here is a picture of the steak in it's "before" state, fresh out of the package from the butcher....I salted and peppered it and poured some steak sauce on top, letting it sit in the frig for a few hours.
A picture of the steak "After" it was pan fried in coconut oil with some onions and mushrooms.....oh my was this ever a good piece of meat....not sure if it was the coconut oil that did the trick, but it sure did smell good.
Here you see the whole meal....salad, mashed potatoes, garlic bread and left-over cod fish from the night before. There was steak left over for Sunday's meal of Steak and eggs and English muffins. Oh Yum!!!!

Hi Diana.....Nope, this is a new post...you probably commented on the steak, but not the before and after it was cooked. Toooo cold for me, would love to take off for a warmer climate....I thought they were talking "climate change and global warming" if that is the fact we should be getting warm weather not frigid weather!!!!!
Ah but we have the warm weather. 78 degrees over the weekend. Your cute valentine came in Saturday's mail, but we didn't get our mail out of the box until Sunday evening. It's sweet of you to share your tallents. I've been down with a nasty sinus cold. Rats! Just now feeling somewhat normal. Caught that one from our granddaughter who we babysat the prior weekend. Oh, and that steak looks delicious. We grilled steak the day after Valentine's day. For our actual Valentine's dinner we had scrambled eggs... too sick to care. HA! Take care. P.

Oh Louise, your meal looks so good! Your table with the red placemats and pink tablecloth looks so festive. Love your St. Patrick's day cards. You are way ahead of the game. I don't make those.
Hi Brenda...thanks for stopping by. Thanks on the cards...one of my friends has her Easter cards made already....I have not even started. When I found that I could make shamrocks using my Heart punch it made St Patrick cards fun to make...:)
