Thought this was an interesting saying and so true. I find that sometimes I can't even finish a sentence and the person I am talking to has gone off on another subject....oh well, their loss. I guess that means they were not even listening to what I had to say. Listening is an ART that has somehow lost it's way in this "high technology world." Hi Louise, that is so true, and I have to confess that I have been in that place way to often.
Thanks for the offer to share your watermelon pickle recipe with me. I'm afraid that I have only made pickles once in my life and that was because I had a girlfriend here helping me. I've always been afraid that I might do something wrong and poison my family :( It's probably because my Mom never canned, so although I would love to learn, I'm very nervous about it.
